Flood situation in Pakistan in 2022

The humanitarian situation in Pakistan has continued to deteriorate over the past two weeks. 

 Heavy rains continue to cause floods and landslides, causing shelter and damage across the country. The Government of Pakistan has officially declared 66 districts 'affected by the disaster'

31 of them are in Balochistan, 23 in Sindh, 9 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and 3 in Punjab. The situation remains fluid and many more districts are affected. 

The Government of Pakistan declared a state of national emergency. Rainfall-induced flooding has so far killed 937 people.
