Shri Shantadurga Temple is in the village of Kavalem in Ponda Taluka, Goa. It is at the foot of a hill. The mud shrine was turned into a beautiful temple till 1966.
The temple is for Shantadurga, the goddess who helps the gods Shiva and Vishnu get along. She is also called "Santeri" in everyday speech.

The "Yatra" parade is an annual festival in December. The idol is put in the golden palanquin during the festival and taken out for a parade. Lalkhi Utsavis is important festivals.
The Temple is open from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or from 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and it’s free to get in.
