1. Tata Motors is set to launch the Punch EV, an all-electric version of its popular compact SUV, in India soon.
2. The Punch EV is expected to have a range of around 300 km on a single charge.
3. It will be powered by a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a 75 kW electric motor.
4. The car will have a top speed of 120 km/h and will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 8 seconds.
5. The Punch EV will come with features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and a sunroof.
6. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 10-12 lakhs and will compete with other electric SUVs such as the Mahindra eKUV100 and the Hyundai Kona Electric.
7. The Punch EV is expected to be launched in India in early 2024.
