British Queen Elizabeth II remembered Royal Ascot for the first time since her coronation in 1953, however, she saw the event on TV.

According to Reuters, the 96-year-old monarch missed the entire prestigious equestrian event due to his ongoing mobility issues.

The Queen, who celebrated her Platinum Jubilee earlier this month, however, watched the final day of the racing event on TV.

She had previously missed the event only once during her reign, in 2020, when it was held behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
