At the start of the program, only farmers who had 2 hectares or 5 acres of arable land were considered eligible. The Modi government changed thisThis obligation was removed so that 14.5 million farmers could benefit from it.
You cannot avail the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme without Aadhaar. The government has made Aadhaar mandatory for beneficiaries.
To ensure that the benefits of the Prime Minister's Kisan Yojana reach the maximum number of farmers, the Modi government has removed the requirement of visits by accountants, lawyers and agriculture officers. Now farmers can register sitting at home.
Now Kisan Credit Card (KCC) is also linked with PM Kisan scheme. It has become easy for PM Kisan beneficiaries to do KCC. A farmer availing the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will not have to provide any document for PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana.
