Marcell Ozuna was arrested early Friday morning for suspicion of driving under alcohol.

Before the game against the Houston Astros, Ozuna spoke to reporters for 18 seconds.

A Norcross Police officer arrested Ozuna in metro Atlanta at about 4:30 a.m. Friday and booked him into Gwinnett County jail. 

An arrest warrant for DUI and failure to maintain a lane was issued for him and he was released on a $1,830 bond.

“Marcell Ozuna was arrested this morning and the Atlanta Braves are still gathering all the details,” the franchise said in a statement

Ozuna likewise put out a short announcement, saying, "I disheartened my group. I have nothing more to say.

Snitker spoke to Ozuna earlier Friday but didn't elaborate on their conversation.

"No, similar to I said, I believe all that's been said," Snitker said. "We're disheartened that it worked out, and we'll simply go on."
